The Opera Guild of Greater Columbia promotes the appreciation of opera through its special programs. The Guild was launched March 27, 1978 by Dr. James and Marge Adams.  Guild members travel throughout the Southeast promoting opera in the Columbia community, and inviting other opera enthusiasts to attend performances in Columbia. Opera audiences in Columbia reflect a broad spectrum from a wide geographic reach.
